Kos Island Beaches
Kos Island Beaches have a strong reputation across the Dodecanese Islands thanks to their cleanliness, variety, and long stretches of coastline. Most beaches feature fine golden sand, while some areas offer small or large pebbly shores for those who prefer a different texture. The northern beaches such as Marmari, Tigaki, and Mastihari are generally windier, making them ideal for windsurfing and water sports.
Many beaches on Kos are well organised, offering facilities such as changing cabins, toilets, showers, restaurants, sunbeds, and umbrellas for a comfortable day by the sea.
