It was built in 1618 by the Grand Vizier. The Öküz Mehmet Pasha Caravanserai, located near the Kuşadası pier, was commissioned in 1618 by Grand Vizier Öküz Mehmet Pasha. Reflecting the characteristics of classical Ottoman architecture, the structure—with its thick stone walls, large courtyard, and secure accommodation facilities—became a frequent stop for merchants. Today, it has been restored and brought into tourism, offering visitors a historical atmosphere as an important cultural heritage site.
